We have been serving the Fairview area for more than 20 years. We have three small animal doctors and one equine doctor.

Dr. Ted WrightDr. Ted aka "Pony Boy" has practiced equine medicine in WNC since graduating from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. A resident of Fletcher, Ted is passionate about preventing problems in people's precious pets and using horse tails to create faux mullets for photo ops.

Dr. Leigh Ann HamonDr. Leigh Ann Hamon graduated from Texas A&M and founded the practice in 2001. When not seeing patients, she enjoys horseback riding, gardening and playing with her mini aussies.

Dr. Mitchell graduated from NC State with degrees in Animal Science and Chemistry and stayed for her degree in Veterinary Medicine. Afterwards, she completed an internship in small animal internal medicine, surgery and emergency. She lives in Fletcher with her husband, four kids and numerous pets. She enjoys many activities, but mostly ones that involve kids begging for her fun to be over.

Dr. Wendy Lichtig graduated cum laude from Colorado State University in 1997. She then did an internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. Wendy loves all small animals, with a particular affinity for cats, of which she has too many of her own.

Kim graduated from UNC-Asheville and earned a B.A. concentrating on management and marketing. Shortly after she got her first dog, which started her obsession with animals. She now lives in Weaverville with her husband, 5 dogs, 6 chickens and a cat. She spends her free time hiking, swimming and snuggling her pets.

Hillary
Hillary graduated from AB Tech's Veterinary Technology program in 2013. She is especially interested in dog training, and trains and competes in agility and sheep herding with her border collie.
